Strata - The 1st MADE IN KOEAR BJJ Kimonos brand

STRATA-
地質学の用語で地面の下に蓄積された堆積物の層を意味する。
私たちが立っている地面の下の歳月の跡を忘れずに、積まれている、そして積まれていく地層から「進行形の歴史」という概念を導き出しました。
その歴史に対する尊敬とその歴史のなかで私たちの役割を果たすことがストラタが目指す最終的な目標です。

デザイン概念
ストリートファッション、スケートボード、タトゥー、グラフィティなどから得たスピリットを BJJ&MMA カルチャーに吹き込むことができるデザインを追及しています。

STRATA- [geology] a layer or set of layers of rock, earth, etc. – A geological terminology referring to layers of sediment piled up under the surface of the earth.
Symbolizing a layer of accumulated terrain that embraces the track of ages in which we have walked this earth; also can be interpreted as “History in the Making”
The ultimate purpose of ‘STRATA’ is to fulfill our role and respect the history that we are making as a team.
Design concept
Pursuing original and authentic designs inspired from Street, Skateboard, tattoo, graffiti; and instilling it to the BJJ & MMA culture.

 この数年、新しい柔術衣ブランド次々創立する。
その中で、気持ち入ってない、たった工場からサンプルをもらって、その上にパッチつけって売ることが多い。
但し、今回私特別に柔術衣を紹介するこのブランド　－　STRATAは初韓国製の柔術衣。

In these few years, many BJJ kimonos brand  were established.
Most of them are not design-oriented, instead, they are just stitiching their own patches on the model provided by facotries, making money without any improvement.
I named it "heartless".
However, I'm going to introduce a brand - STRATA - first ever made in Korea BJJ kimonos.

しかも、創立者はまだ大学生、一々すべてのデテールを考えて、自分で工場に行って伝えった。
デザインから生産まで、全部韓国の工場に。
韓国といれば、テコンドーでしょ。　格闘技専門の工場もいっぱあるはず。
STRATAクラシックのジャケットはシングルウィーブとダイヤ地が一枚生地で繋がっています、凄く珍しい。
私気に入りのはラベル、ものすごく綺麗な糸を使ってる。
カッティングはA0なしから、コメントできません。
でも、この安い値段で、こういういい柔術衣を買えるのは、すごくおススメです。

The founder is a University student who passionates about BJJ and wants to improve the kimonos the best he can do.
He designed all the details and went directly to the factory to make sure the quality.
From Design to Production, it is all in Korea.
When we talk about Korea, the first image should be Taekwondo. No doubt there are many nice qualified martial arts Uniform factories in Korea.

Strata Classic model applies rare one piece of Single weave and Diamond fabric without seam which create a unique look.
The detail which I like most is the label, it is weaved by shiny thread which creates a clean bueatiful image.
I could not comment on the outfit because they do not provide A0 size.
However, considering the price with all these nice details and passionate inside, it is worthy to be my recommendation.



現在大学生のSTRATA創立者は資金不足ので、生産量は少ないらしいです。
それでも、彼はまた資金を貯めて、世界に見たことないの生地を作りますと伝えたい。
支えあう！

Currently still a University student, the Strata founder, did not able to produce a big quantity for his first attempt.
However, he promised to save more money and going to bring a new fabric which you have never seen in the BJJ world in short future.

今年ムンジアル優勝したの李相寿、STRATAと知り合いではないが、
STRATAは韓国人のリー君に一着をプレゼントしました。
Current Worlds 2011 Brown belt Galo weight Champaion - LEE SangSu- Korean.
Even he doesn't know Strata in person, Strata sent him their kimonos. Respect Korean spirits!
